"An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." - Benjamin Franklin
At Sustaina Center for Women, the word “gynecology” reminds us that as women we need to take care of ourselves.
“gyn*ecology” centers around a woman's interaction with her health environment (your food, your sleep, your work/stress, your family needs, your needs). Do you have a personal sustainability strategy? We want to help women sustain their health as naturally as possible – using medication and surgery only as needed.
There are no guarantees in life. None of us are invincible; but we can at least try to push the odds as much as we can in our favor. Preventive health can only come from you - your lifestyle, the food you eat, the exercise you do, your sleep habits, and your ability to manage your stress. An annual visit is more than a pap smear - it is to address these factors to make sure you are on your personal sustainability path.
